🎭🎶 Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. is Coming to the Sandwich Opera House (Mar 13–15) — Make It Dinner + a Show!

If you grew up singing “Just a Bill” or “Conjunction Junction,” you’re going to love what’s coming to town next week: Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR. hits the stage at the Sandwich Opera House for a full weekend of fun, music, and nostalgia—perfect for families, date nights, and anyone who loves a good throwback. The show runs Friday, March 13 at 7:00 PM, plus Saturday, March 14 at 2:00 PM and Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 PM, all at the historic Sandwich Opera House (140 E Railroad St, Sandwich, IL).

We also want to give a big shoutout to Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville)—they’re presenting this production, and we love seeing local students and community talent bring something special to the Opera House stage.

Make It a Full Night Out: Dinner + a Show

One of our favorite things about events at the Opera House is how easy it is to turn them into a full outing in downtown Sandwich. Start your night with dinner at Bull Moose Bar & Grille, then head over for curtain time. If you’re coming for the Friday evening show, plan for an early dinner so you can relax and make it to your seats with time to spare. If you’re going to the Saturday or Sunday matinee, you can flip it too—catch the show first, then come in after for a late lunch/early dinner and keep the day going.
