September closes out and October opens up this week in downtown Sandwich, IL, and it's a full one: Bears on Monday Night Football, a new Mac of the Month and Drink of the Month landing Thursday, and a Saturday that puts a community fundraiser and a Sandwich Opera House show night on the same night. Sunday, September 27: Last Weekend for September's Features

No Bears game today, so Sunday is about two things: Sunday Funday Hour from 12 to 2 PM, with $2 domestic 16 oz drafts and $3.50 Bloody Marys all day, and the last weekend for September's Mac of the Month, the Chicken Pot Pie Mac, and Drink of the Month, the Cookie Jar Colada, made with Sheri's house-made Oreo buttercream frosting. Both are gone after Wednesday, September 30. Open 11 AM to 8 PM.

Monday, September 28: Bears vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football

The Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, with kickoff at 7:15 PM on ESPN and ABC, and we've got it on the 98-inch TV at Bull Moose Bar & Grille. Monday specials are $1 off all drafts and $5 Well Mules, with Happy Hour from 4 to 6 PM. Earlier in the day, Cheeseburger Monday is $9.99 and our $9.99 lunch specials run all day on Mondays.

Tuesday, September 29: Double Point Tuesday

Every order at Bull Moose Bar & Grille earns double loyalty points on Tuesdays, and the drink specials are $1 off all tequila drinks and $1 off Corona, Corona Light, and Modelo. It's also the second-to-last day for the Cookie Jar Colada and Chicken Pot Pie Mac. Lunch specials are $9.99 from 11 AM to 2 PM, and lunch orders earn double points too.

Wednesday, September 30: Last Day for the Chicken Pot Pie Mac and Cookie Jar Colada

Today is the last day for both of September's features. Wednesday specials are $1 off wine and whiskey and $3.50 mixed wells, with Happy Hour from 4 to 6 PM. Tomorrow, October's lineup takes over.

Thursday, October 1: October's Mac of the Month and Drink of the Month Arrive

Two new arrivals at Bull Moose Bar & Grille. October's Mac of the Month is the Maple Bacon Chicken Mac: classic mac and cheese with bacon bits, topped with crispy chicken tossed in our maple bacon BBQ sauce. Sweet, smoky, and a little salty, and available all month. October's Drink of the Month is the Caramel Pumpkin White Russian, creamy and spiced, joining the Campfire Cider, Granny Smith Sour, and Salted Caramel Dirty Dr. Pepper on our fall drink lineup. Friday, October 2: Sandwich Indians at Woodstock

The Sandwich Indians are on the road at Woodstock with a 7 PM kickoff. Good luck, Indians. Bull Moose Bar & Grille is open until 9 PM for a pregame dinner before the drive or a late bite when you're back. Friday specials are $4 premium drafts, $1 off signature drinks (the Caramel Pumpkin White Russian counts), and $4 bombs: Cherry, Vegas, and Jager.

Saturday, October 3: Dine & Donate for Kelly

Sandwich takes care of its own. Kelly is a mom of five, a grandma of eight, and a familiar face around town, and she is fighting stage 3 breast cancer. All day Saturday, open to close, 11 AM to 9 PM, Bull Moose Bar & Grille is donating a portion of the day's proceeds to Kelly's family to help with medical costs. Every order counts, so bring your family, bring your friends, and help us fill the place for her. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this is one way to put it into action close to home.

Saturday, October 3: Emily Raff, Rock & Roll Cowgirl, at the Sandwich Opera House

The Sandwich Opera House's 2026–2027 season continues with Emily Raff, the Rock & Roll Cowgirl, on Saturday, October 3 at 7:30 PM. Tickets and details are at sandwichoperahouse.org. Bull Moose Bar & Grille is one block from the Opera House, and show night means the Phantom of the Opera House burger is on the menu tonight only: fresh jalapeños, chipotle mayo, onions, and cheddar.
